Business Hotel

The location for this project was the Merchant House which is located in Poole. The building is un-listed which gave me lots of design opportunities. I focused on what the building originally was, which was an office and transformed it into a multi-functional space. Research finds that corporate hotels are very popular. Having multiple functions allow them to relax after their meetings and stay the whole weekend rather than just a day. This is typically because people like to explore the city or spend time with their partners.
